Lactobacillus Acidophilus had many unusual qualities. For example Lactobacillus aids digestion and suppresses disease causing bacteria. This bacterium prevents diarrhea such as the type that is caused by a viral infection. It also aids in the alleviation of irritable bowel syndrome, and possible inflammatory bowl disease. There is evidence that Lactobacillus Acidophilus can lower the risk of allergies, including asthma, hay fever, food allergies to milk, and skin allergies caused by eczema. It treats overgrowth of "bad" in the gastriontrastinol tract.  More research is needed though to determine whether or not it can help drop high cholesterol. The best evidence exists over the diseases that it cures in the vagina. This bacterium prevents and cures yeast infections, urinary tract infections, and cystitis. These qualities are not exactly what you would expect from a bacterium. This bacterium is considered to be a good bacteria contrary to the cultural implications that bacteria all need to be washed, sprayed, and killed so they do not infect or hurt us.
