Lactobacillus Acidophilus can survive happily in acidic environments. It survives best in enviroments with a ph of 4.5 or lower. Even though it can live in these acidic environments, it can be killed by too much moisture, heat, or direct light. This bacteria can also be killed by antibiotics, but it can be replaced in your body with supplements.
